Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Experience with:
o Windows Server and Windows OS administration
o Active Directory (users, groups, permissions)
• General understanding of networking concepts such as IP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
• RightFax EFM (Enterprise Fax Manger)
• RightFax Fax Printer client and driver
• RightFax shared account Delegate management, and routing methods and associated file types.
• Ability to read logs and follow troubleshooting procedures.
• Exposure to OpenText RightFax, XMedius, or other fax/document systems.
• Experience supporting MFPs, printers, or scanning workflows.
• Basic familiarity with SQL Server concepts or troubleshooting.
Roles & Responsibilities
Platform Operations & Support
• Monitor RightFax environments for system health, queue backlogs, transmission errors, and service availability.
• Perform basic RightFax administrative tasks, including:
o User and group management
o Fax number assignments
o Permissions and delegation changes
• Respond to incidents and service requests related to fax delivery, image routing, and client connectivity.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with appropriate diagnostics and documentation.
Incident & Troubleshooting Support
• Investigate common RightFax issues such as:
o Failed or delayed fax transmissions
o Client connectivity problems
o Imaging or routing errors
• Collect logs and diagnostic data from RightFax, Windows Event Viewer, and basic telephony components.
• Assist with root cause analysis and post incident reviews.
Change & Maintenance Activities
• Assist with patching, service restarts, and scheduled maintenance activities following established SOPs.
• Support testing activities for system upgrades, hotfixes, and configuration changes in non production environments.
• Execute predefined maintenance tasks such as fax aging, data cleanup, and basic health checks.
User & Business Support
• Provide Tier 12 support for end users, including troubleshooting fax submissions from:
o MFPs
o Diem Email and SMTP
o Folder drop workflows
• Communicate clearly with business users regarding fax issues, resolution status, and expected behavior.
• Work with application and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot integration related issues.
Documentation & Process Adherence
• Follow established operational runbooks, escalation procedures, and change management processes.
• Maintain and update documentation for common issues, support procedures, and system configurations.
• Document incident findings and resolution steps for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Salary Range: $110,000- $125,000 a year
