RIDE is currently driving an exciting transformation in the transportation industry, and we are recruiting a passionate and experienced sales manager to help us drive business growth and market penetration of EV School Bus in the region. You will be a member of RIDE team and play a key role in creating RIDE EV School Bus history in US market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Meet or exceed sales goals in the designated region and/or market.
  • Expand existing sales, develop new sales and build an account portfolio in the designated area.
  • Direct, develop, and execute sales plans and strategies to attain better profitability and level of service throughout the territory.
  • Monitor and analyze the market, identify opportunities, determine sales potential and inventory requirements, monitor the preferences of customers, and develop business strategies.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, and lead sales efforts.
  • Continuously monitor and align company initiatives with customer needs and regulatory developments in the region.
  • Support product management initiatives, develop proposals and manage contracts, provide team leadership, and report on performance.
  • Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Assist with determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings and expo to promote products.

COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Problem solving with the ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Experience collaborating with others and building teams

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) Sales
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior work experience in School Bus or EV School Bus sales experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of EV school bus market/OEMs/incentives and etc.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Experience communicating with customers verbally to convey information and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Work independently, take initiative and be resourceful with minimal supervision
  • Experience negotiating contracts and influencing others to achieve a positive outcome
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data and generating reports
  • Ability to travel to various states within the U.S. to meet with customers, and participate in trade shows

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
