The Bilingual Insurance Sales & Customer Service Professional plays a dual role at The Richard Group Agency, focusing on both customer service and new sales growth. This position is designed for a licensed insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese and has a passion for both relationship management and insurance sales. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to existing clients while actively contributing to agency growth by producing at least 20 new insurance items per month. Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Manage inbound calls and service requests, resolving client needs quickly and accurately.
  • Educate clients on insurance coverage options, discounts, and policy changes.
  • Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional products (auto, home, life, umbrella, renters, etc.).
  • Handle billing questions, endorsements, and insurance policy changes in line with company procedures.

Sales & Production

  • Meet or exceed the monthly goal of 20 new insurance items.
  • By cross selling to current clients and working agency-provided leads and referrals to generate new business.
  • Actively engage with clients in both English and Spanish/Portuguese to expand market reach.
  • Ask for referrals and network within the community to drive sales.
  • Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate notes in agency systems.

Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish OR English and Portuguese required.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior insurance experience (sales or service).
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet production goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with technology and agency management systems.
  • Ability to engage in social media marketing and networking efforts (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
