Job description

Join a growing precious metals distribution company in Plano, TX! We are looking for a dependable Shipping Associate to prepare and process customer orders in a clean, fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable Monday–Friday schedule and great employee perks.

Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of shipping experience
  • Basic computer skills required
  • RF scanner experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable using a utility knife safely
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance
  • Must be able to pass a clear criminal background check

Daily Responsibilities

  • Scan products using an RF scanner
  • Verify product information and barcodes
  • Look up part numbers using a computer
  • Print invoices and shipping labels
  • Package products using bubble wrap and other packing materials
  • Stage completed orders on carts for shipment
  • Ensure all orders are accurate before shipping

Housekeeping Responsibilities

  • Employees rotate housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean and organized work environment, including:
  • Cleaning restrooms
  • Sweeping work areas
  • Emptying trash and picking up debris

Break Schedule

  • 10:30 AM: 15-minute break
  • 12:00 PM: 30-minute paid lunch
  • 2:30 PM: 15-minute break
