Job description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

The Chief of Staff, Sales will act as a force multiplier for our C-level executives, working directly with them to source and manage enterprise relationships and deals. This role owns the operational backbone of the sales process - keeping conversations moving at speed, clearing obstacles before they stall a deal, and building the systems that let our execs operate at a higher altitude without losing visibility into the details. We're looking for someone who can work alongside our executive team in our Boulder office 5 days a week.

THE ROLE:

  • Own follow-up on every live conversation our execs have with prospects and partners, keeping momentum moving between meetings
  • Maximize lead generation at conferences and industry events, from pre-event outreach through post-event follow-up
  • Build and manage partner referral programs that create repeatable enterprise pipeline
  • Research and map stakeholders within target accounts so execs know who else needs to be in the room
  • Manage RFP processes end-to-end, coordinating inputs, deadlines, and internal stakeholders
  • Document and prototype initial solution concepts following client discovery meetings
  • Anticipate obstacles before they stall a deal and get ahead of them

WHO YOU ARE:

  • A background that reflects strong operational and client-facing instincts, however you came by it - sales, account management, deal strategy, account research, RevOps, management consulting, or something adjacent
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity, hold multiple live threads at once, and move at speed
  • Operational prowess - you build process, track status, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Track record working directly with senior executives or founders
  • Client-facing experience - comfortable jumping into a prospect or partner conversation and making a strong impression
  • Experience in solution consulting, translating client discovery into a concrete proposed approach
  • Experience managing RFPs, proposals, or structured deal processes

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:

$120,000 - $150,000 USD, commensurate with experience.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates currently outside of the Boulder area.
