The Head of Finance serves as the strategic architect for the global commercial finance function. Acting as the "CFO to the CRO," this leader partners closely with executive sales and commercial leadership to influence revenue strategy, optimize cost structures, and drive scalable financial infrastructure. This role leads global finance partners, owns full-cycle planning for Sales and Marketing, and defines the SaaS performance framework that informs executive decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Advisory
  • Act as the primary finance partner to the CRO and commercial leadership team.
  • Evaluate new markets, pricing strategies, and investment business cases.
  • Provide strategic recommendations that influence revenue growth and profitability.

Function Architecture & Process Design
  • Design and implement global finance infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Define "North Star" sales and SaaS metrics and build communication loops across regions.

Global Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of regional finance partners.
  • Support regional GMs and departmental leaders worldwide.

Planning & Forecasting
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Manage global budgets and resource allocation.

Incentives & Performance Optimization
  • Oversee sales commission structures to ensure alignment with company OKRs.
  • Define and monitor SaaS KPIs such as CAC, LTV, Magic Number, and Net Retention.
  • Translate complex financial performance into actionable insights for executive leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with RevOps, Legal, HR, and Finance to align hiring plans, quota setting, and operational execution.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of Finance/FP&A experience, including 5+ years supporting executive Sales/commercial leaders in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • 5+ years of global team management experience.
  • Proven track record building finance teams and processes from scratch.
  • Deep SaaS financial modeling expertise and understanding of recurring revenue mechanics.
  • Proficiency in Pigment (or similar planning tools), NetSuite, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
