Currently we are hiring an FAI Reviewer, located in Wichita, KS.

Job Title: FAI Reviewer

Location: Wichita, KS (Initially Work from home, but based on the clientโ€™s need they should report in KS location)

Duration: Fulltime

Job Description:

One of our Reputed Customers is looking for the Supplier FAI (First Article Inspection) Review Engineer for long term assignments. Initial Assignment would be Work from home. Later on, as per need basis, candidates need to be report to onsite location (Wichita, KS, USA). Presently our customer is working with various suppliers across the globe. The manufactured parts documents from the suppliers need to be verified in accordance with customersโ€™ requirements in terms of Engineering and Manufacturing standards. Candidates will be reporting to the customers directly as needed.

Candidate Must be proficient in the below areas:

  • Through Knowledge of First Article Inspections as per AS9102 standards.
  • Must know the Manufacturing process of Machined, Sheet metal, and Extrusion Processes.
  • Good Knowledge in Finishing & Inspection Process of manufacturing Parts.
  • Possess good understanding of Detail, Assy, Installation and next higher Assy Concepts.
  • Able to differentiate the Manufacturing and Engineering requirements Knowledge of BOM preparation from the engineering sources.
  • Able to work as interface between suppliersโ€™ group and customer.
  • Understand the importance of various logistics documents from the supplier and customer.
  • Must be aware of complete product lifecycle & supplier interface requirements.
  • Maintain the priority request from the suppliers and plan accordingly with other stakeholders to expedite the parts.
  • Candidates with knowledge of PPAP will be most preferred.
  • Aware of the Instrumentation devices or tools used across Engineering Industries. Knowledge of GD&T will be added advantage. Possess good communication, self-driven, take initiatives independently, and are willing to learn in short time.
