YOUR IMPACT

OpenText is seeking a Lead Revenue Operations Analyst to join our growing Support Revenue Operations team, acting as a key financial partner focused on adding value to the business. This position reports to the Manager, Revenue Operations, and will be responsible for supporting revenue forecasting, bookings analysis, planning, and reporting processes, while acting as a key interface with business leaders and other cross-functional stakeholders to optimize business performance. The successful candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and have a high degree of autonomy along with a broad understanding of business and finance. The individual will foster strong working relationships with various internal stakeholders, thrive on process improvements, and manage inputs from multiple sources.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Provide operational support and analysis to various business teams.
Support continuous process improvement, automating and streamlining processes for forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Build relationships with leaders to improve how estimates and actual financials are consolidated and analyzed.
Review and prepare weekly forecast and pipeline reports for accuracy and business insight.
Support ongoing forecasting, planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Understand what drives forecast changes and explain variances to plan, year-over-year, and quarter-over-quarter and share clear variance analysis with stakeholders and senior management.
Learn and use new tools to gather data from multiple sources for better reporting.
Work with internal teams like Revenue Recognition, Billing Operations, Sales Operations, and Business Operations.
Handle ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Financial Analysis, Accounting, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, and/or reporting.
Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling large amounts of data.
Ability to build effective working relationships with senior management, business partners, and peers.
Experience with Power BI, SAP, SAP AO, or Salesforce is an asset.
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Basic SQL knowledge to run queries is a plus.
Proven ability to compile and analyze data using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced formulas.
Experience reading customer contracts and interpreting revenue recognition schedules and policies.
Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to audiences at all levels, verbally and in writing.
Track record of improving and streamlining operational processes.
A self-starter who can connect financial results to business drivers, solve problems, and minimize risk. Proven ability to take initiative and adapt to new challenges.
Financial analysis and modeling skills are a plus.

Salary Range: $92,230 - $138,320;Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
