Job description

Who we are

At illumin, we are transforming the advertising landscape. Our platform offers an integrated space for journey planning, execution, and reporting. It empowers marketers to connect with their audiences in powerful ways through real-time data and easy-to-use visual tools. By seamlessly combining media planning and buying in an intuitive interface, marketers can take complete control of their campaigns, meeting customers wherever they are in the buying journey and maximizing the impact of their ad spend through personalized insights for smarter decision-making.

We are at a pivotal moment, evolving into a product-led company with a team of over 100 skilled professionals and new leadership guiding our path forward. By harnessing the power of data, advancing our AI capabilities, and deeply investing in our people, we are preparing for a future that will redefine what’s possible in journey advertising.

Our work is guided by two beliefs: that the ability to execute is paramount to success and that we are only as good as our people. As we grow and transform, we are looking for team members (illumineers) who share our bias for speed, delivery over perfection, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Joining us now is a chance to be part of our transformation.

Who we need

Reporting to the COO, we are hiring a Manager, Revenue Operations to drive operational excellence across our revenue organization. You will be the strategic partner behind our sales performance, responsible for ensuring that processes, systems, reporting, forecasting, and planning activities enable sustainable growth. You will work closely with Sales leadership, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Technology teams to create structure, visibility, and scalability across the revenue engine.

This is a hybrid opportunity, working three days per week on-site in our downtown Toronto office. Our headquarters are located within minutes of St. Andrew and Union subway stations.

What's in it for you

Impact and visibility. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in how illumin grows and scales. You will work directly with the COO and Sales leadership to improve the systems, processes, and insights that drive revenue performance across the organization. Your recommendations will influence decisions around forecasting, territory planning, compensation, reporting, and operational strategy, giving you visibility into the business beyond a traditional Revenue Operations role.

The opportunity to build and improve. We are looking for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, challenging the status quo, and creating better ways of working. You will have the autonomy to evaluate existing processes, uncover inefficiencies, and introduce improvements that increase visibility, adoption, and operational effectiveness. You will have the opportunity to shape how Revenue Operations evolves as the organization grows.

Strategic exposure and growth. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Technology, providing broad exposure to how a growing AdTech business operates. You will partner with leaders across functions to solve complex challenges, influence decision-making, and drive initiatives from idea through execution. Whether your long-term path is senior Revenue Operations leadership, Business Operations, or broader operational leadership, this role offers the opportunity to expand your scope, strengthen your commercial acumen, and make a measurable impact across the organization.

How you will make an impact:

  • Partner with leadership to improve revenue performance. You will work closely with the COO and Sales leaders to understand business objectives, identify operational challenges, and recommend improvements that support growth. By analyzing performance data, forecasting trends, and monitoring key metrics, you will help ensure leaders have the insights needed to make informed decisions.
  • Bring structure and scalability to revenue operations. You will evaluate existing processes across the revenue lifecycle, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and adoption, and help create the frameworks that support a growing organization. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Technology teams, you will translate business needs into practical, scalable operational solutions.
  • Own the systems, processes, and reporting that support the revenue organization. You will serve as the business owner for Salesforce and related revenue technologies, ensuring they effectively support sales processes and decision-making. While you will not be responsible for building every workflow or automation yourself, you will define requirements, recommend process improvements, and partner with technical resources to implement solutions that improve visibility, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive execution while continuously improving how the business operates. This is a hands-on role where you will balance day-to-day operational responsibilities with longer-term improvement initiatives. You will proactively identify gaps, investigate challenges, introduce best practices, and help build a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across the revenue organization.

What you bring:

  • The Revenue Operations experience. You have experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a similar function within a SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, technology, or data-driven environment. You understand the systems, processes, metrics, and reporting that support revenue growth and can confidently partner with sales leaders to improve performance and drive results.
  • The proactive mindset. You do not wait for problems to surface before taking action. You naturally look for trends, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities, bringing forward ideas and recommendations that improve how the business operates. You are curious, resourceful, and motivated by finding better ways to solve problems.
  • The process and systems expertise. You have strong experience working with Salesforce and understand how CRM systems support forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, territory planning, and sales execution. You can translate business needs into scalable processes and workflows, defining requirements and partnering with technical resources to implement solutions that improve efficiency and adoption.
  • The analytical and commercial acumen. You are comfortable working with data and know how to turn information into actionable insights. You can connect operational metrics to business outcomes, helping leaders make informed decisions around performance, productivity, and growth.
  • The ownership and adaptability. You are comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and there is not always a predefined roadmap. You take ownership, work independently, and balance strategic thinking with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute. You enjoy building, improving, and creating structure as a business grows.

Compensation
At illumin, we believe compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of both experience and impact. The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonus.

Compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and the scope and complexity of the role. We value open conversations about compensation and are happy to discuss our approach at any stage of the hiring process.

What else should you know about us?

We are undergoing a transformative shift. We are embracing change and the opportunities that come with it, empowering every illumineer to innovate, experiment, and bring forward new ideas. Whether accessing new technology, restructuring workflows, or expanding your team, you will have full support if you can make the business case.

We are a broad and diverse team, but we all share a passion for success, a drive to do more, and a love of creating connections. We hire for talent and commitment and provide the guidelines and guidance to elevate skills, knowledge, and abilities across all areas. This is a place where proven methods meet bold ideas, offering opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

To support a healthy work-life balance, we offer a flexible work environment ,and for those working in a hybrid role, a meal credit for your in-office days and a free massage with an RMT in-house every eight weeks. That is in addition to our comprehensive benefits, which include life, AD&D, long-term disability insurance, and coverage for prescriptions, dental, vision, mental health, and professional health services. You will also have access to a workplace advisor, the Vitality Wellness app, and a $300 annual healthcare spending account.

What you can expect from our interview process:

  • A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor will discuss your interest in the role and background. The conversation will be recorded using BrightHire, an AI-powered video interview tool. More details will be shared when you are invited to interview.
  • An in-person interview with the COO focused on your experience supporting revenue organizations, improving processes, leveraging data to drive decision-making, and partnering with business leaders to improve performance. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the team, the organization, and the priorities for the role.
  • A final interview with the COO and a Sales leader focused on your approach to Revenue Operations, forecasting, reporting, process improvement, Salesforce, and cross-functional partnership. The discussion will explore how you identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and support business growth through data, systems, and process optimization.

illumin is firmly committed to diversity within its community and welcomes applications from racialized persons/persons of colour, Indigenous People of North America and the world, persons with disabilities, 2SLGBTQIA+ persons, and those who may contribute to the further diversification of ideas.
