WHAT WE DO
At Relativity, our Finance and Accounting teams partner closely with the business to ensure accurate financial reporting, scalable processes, and strong compliance as the company continues to grow. We combine technical accounting expertise with modern systems and automation to support a fast-paced, global SaaS organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Review customer contracts and order forms to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
  • Drive the monthly and quarterly revenue close, including journal entries, allocations, deferrals, reconciliations, and flux analysis for revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable
  • Collaborate with Finance Operations and Billing teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate invoicing and reporting
  • Assist with process improvements, automation efforts, and system enhancements to scale revenue accounting operations
  • Oversee accurate commission calculations and related reporting
  • Support external financial audits by preparing PBC schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Lead and contribute to transformation initiatives focused on improving processes and implementing new systems
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting at a high-growth technology company
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 for software and SaaS, including usage-based and commitment-based contracts
  • Proficiency with revenue accounting systems such as Workday Financials, NetSuite ARM, or Zuora Revenue
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a willingness to dive into the details when needed
Preferred
  • Experience supporting or leading revenue system implementations or major enhancements
  • Background partnering closely with Billing, Deal Desk, or Finance Operations teams
  • Experience in a public company or SOX-compliant environment

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$90,000 and $136,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
