Job description

Location
Our Sr. Revenue Accounting Manager will be an integral part of our Finance team in North America. This role is based remotely in the US (EST).

Who We Are
DoiT is a global technology company that empowers cloud-driven organizations to achieve business growth and innovation through strategic cloud utilization. We combine data, technology, and human expertise to ensure our customers operate in a well-architected and scalable state. From initial planning to full-scale production.

Delivering DoiT Cloud Intelligence, the only solution that integrates advanced technology with human intelligence, we help our customers solve complex multi-cloud problems and drive efficiency.

With decades of multi-cloud experience, we have specializations in Kubernetes, GenAI, CloudOps, and more. An award-winning strategic partner of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, we work alongside more than 4,000 customers worldwide.

The Opportunity
This isn't just another accounting leadership role. It's your opportunity to own the technical revenue function at a PE-backed, high-growth global SaaS company. The Senior Revenue Accounting Manager sits at the heart of DoiT's finance function, reporting directly to the Head of Accounting / Corporate Controller.

You will be the company's primary authority on revenue recognition under IFRS 15/ASC 606, leading a global revenue accounting team and serving as the go-to partner for GTM, Sales, Legal, Engineering, and FP&A on any question that touches revenue. You will own the order-to-cash accounting process end-to-end, drive the adoption of automation and AI to scale revenue operations, and ensure DoiT's revenue accounting infrastructure keeps pace with its product evolution and growth ambitions. If you have deep technical accounting knowledge, a bias toward building scalable systems, and the communication skills to translate complex conclusions into actionable guidance, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

Revenue Team Leadership and Close Management

  • Lead a global revenue accounting team (2–3 FTEs) through monthly and quarterly close cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS revenue recognition standards.
  • Establish and maintain revenue recognition policies for subscription and consumption-based models, partnering with Legal and Sales teams on contract evaluation.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the Revenue Team on the NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module — managing data integrity, configuring system logic, and resolving revenue data discrepancies.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to revenue recognition and reporting.
  • Support external audits and provide audit-ready, internal-controls-compliant documentation; serve as primary point of contact for external auditors on all revenue matters.

Technical Accounting and Policy

  • Leverage deep IFRS 15/ASC 606 expertise to proactively provide revenue accounting conclusions and recognition policy guidance on the company's most complex accounting programs and transactions.
  • Research and conclude on highly judgmental areas of revenue accounting; produce clear technical memos and policy documentation to support conclusions.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Finance teams to deliver go-to-market strategies, address related accounting impacts, and build accounting readiness for new and hybrid revenue models.
  • Assist FP&A with internal reporting on revenue-related metrics, Revenue–ARR bridge, and related analytics.

Systems, Automation and Process Improvement

  • Identify and lead the implementation of process improvements to scale DoiT's order-to-cash accounting process, drawing on experience with large-scale enterprise software revenue models.
  • Advance systems and process improvements; Including automation and AI, to increase efficiency within revenue operations.
  • Leverage technology to automate and streamline revenue accounting processes; maintain and improve internal controls over revenue processes.
Qualifications
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification required; Big Four or mid-tier public accounting background strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years focused on revenue accounting.
  • Deep expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition across complex arrangements, including consumption-based and subscription models.
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop geographically distributed teams while influencing cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communicator; Able to translate complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-financial audiences; excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing external audits as primary contact for revenue matters.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite ARM module, or equivalent enterprise revenue system; intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills essential.
  • Aptitude for finance technology transformation; Automation, AI-enabled workflows, and modern close tooling.

Bonus Points:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting preferred.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with PE-backed company environments and associated sponsor reporting rhythms.
  • Familiarity with close management platforms (FloQast, BlackLine, or similar).
  • Prior involvement in systems implementations, ERP upgrades, or integrations resulting from M&A or technology roadmap decisions.
