THE JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Associate Revenue Manager is to analyze and prepare various reports on all financial aspects of Hotel Operations as they relate to yielding, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, revenue generation and cost control.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Responsible for forecasting rooms and revenue, setting rates, and determining availability for each market segment, maximizing total REVPAR.
  • Ensures maximum exposure, inventory availability and rate/revenue opportunities are consistently maintained and monitored.
  • Prepares for and leads weekly forecast/strategy meetings.
  • Assists with management of block utilization to maximize revenue.
  • Responsible for design and/or approval of all packages.
  • Manages all group and convention activity ensuring all revenue opportunities and procedural guidelines are met.
  • Provides analytical overview with regard to external trends, enhancements and marketing opportunities existing on various distribution channels.
  • Provides new and insightful hotel strategy recommendations on a regular basis to senior management.
  • Develops/prepares various managerial reports for executive review.
  • Prepares and provides financial analysis as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Has 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in Revenue management experience.
  • Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Preferred
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting - Preferred
  • Experience in financial analysis, accounting principles and theories with the successful application of these concepts in a hospitality environment - Preferred
