Job description

Job Overview Salary Range: $78,007 – $97,509 annually. The Asset Protection Manager ensures a safe selling environment by protecting company assets through proactive activities such as shortage control, investigations, audits, and compliance with company policies and all applicable laws. The role partners with Store Leadership, Investigators, and cross‐functional teams to drive awareness, accountability, and results. Responsibilities Lead meetings, deliver training, and communicate with diverse audiences. Prioritize and adapt to business needs in fast‐paced retail environments. Maintain strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem‐solving skills. Identify shortage exposures and implement mitigation strategies. Facilitate store‐wide communication, training, safety sessions, and shortage awareness initiatives. Model and reinforce customer experience expectations within Asset Protection operations. Identify internal and external theft exposures and develop proactive loss‐reduction strategies. Provide recommendations and action plans for continuous improvement. Oversee audit planning, execution, and documentation; ensure audit readiness. Summarize audit findings, drive corrective actions with Store Leadership. Plan and execute annual physical inventory and reconciliation. Maintain physical security standards and address issues promptly. Oversee camera system functionality, enhancements, and compliance. Ensure investigations comply with apprehension guidelines and applicable laws. Partner with Investigators to prepare cases for interviews and resolution. Directly oversee and guide Asset Protection Investigators; provide daily leadership and direction. Ensure completion of required training, certifications, and ongoing technical development. Deliver performance feedback and support annual review processes. Coach Investigators to strengthen investigative skills and professionalism. Qualifications and Skills College degree preferred. 5+ years of retail Asset Protection experience, preferably in high‐volume or complex environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confidence interacting with store leadership and presenting to large groups. Strong analytical skills. Proficiency with retail security systems, reporting platforms, and productivity software. Experience leading diverse teams to achieve operational, statistical, and developmental goals.
