The Retail Assistant Manager serves as a support person for the Store Manager. He/she is fully trained in all areas of store operations. The Assistant manager position was developed to ensure that policies, and procedures, especially those relating to customer service, are adhered to in the store manager’s absence.

To be successful, you need a high level of energy, an excellent work ethic, a great attitude, a smile and the desire to ensure that customers’ expectations are exceeded each time they shop at our store.

The Retail Assistant Store Manager position is a professional, supervisory position held accountable for assisting the Store Manager with the daily operation of an assigned location. The Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager differentiate our stores from competitors by exceeding customers’ expectations in the areas of Store Image and Cleanliness, In-Stock Position, and Customer Service as well as maximizing store profitability by increasing sales, controlling expenses, and controlling cash and inventory losses.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful candidates should have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be available to work required shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and a happy, smiling attitude are essential.
  • Supervisory experience in a fast paced, high volume retail or restaurant environment is helpful.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and providing excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints in a timely, professional manner
  • Handling all types of store transactions for products and services
