Job description

A growing firm looking to add a Roadway Project Manager to their team!


Responsibilities:

  • Manage roadway/highway design projects from start to finish (geometric design, drainage coordination, maintenance of traffic and traffic control plans)
  • Prepare project scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Monitor progress of multiple projects, manage risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Lead internal multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as primary client contact for INDOT districts and local agencies
  • Coordinate projects with utility companies, permitting agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Develop proposals, scopes, and fee estimates for new pursuits
  • Oversee QA/QC processes
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate (calculations, meeting minutes, and deliverables)
  • Mentor/train junior staff


Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience working on INDOT, and Indiana LPAs transportation projects
  • Indiana Professional Engineer license
  • Demonstrated knowledge of INDOT standards, procedures, and project delivery process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain budget, schedule, and quality objectives
  • Proficient with roadway design tools such as MicroStation/OpenRoads or similar CAD platforms and Microsoft Office for project documentation and reporting


Salary is commensurate with experience.
