Kinetic Restoration LLC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Milliken, Colorado. This full-time role is centered around providing exceptional care to pediatric patients as part of our outpatient practice. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in the evaluation and treatment of young patients, ensuring a high level of care and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

This position is based in a hospital setting where you will collaborate closely with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, physicians, and nursing staff. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

• Deliver physical therapy services as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to established plans of care.
• Assist in the development of effective treatment plans for pediatric patients, obtaining necessary approvals from referring physicians.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews to understand and implement the evaluations provided by Physical Therapists.
• Demonstrate proficiency in executing various physical therapy interventions and modalities, assessing safety and effectiveness at all times.
• Monitor patient progress closely and communicate any significant changes or concerns regarding patient care to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with policy standards.
• Instruct patients' families and caregivers on maintenance programs and essential caregiver training to support the transition from therapy services.

The primary focus of this role is on pediatric patients in an outpatient orthopedic practice. You will engage with children from various backgrounds, accommodating their unique needs and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for recovery. Your ability to connect with young patients and their families will be critical in achieving positive health outcomes and fostering a supportive rehabilitation atmosphere.

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must possess a current and active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Colorado.
• Strong hands-on skills in physical therapy practices, especially with pediatric patients.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, focusing on pediatric care, exercise therapy, and manual techniques.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize patient care effectively.
