The Role
As a Restaurant Server, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our members and guests enjoy a prompt, positive, and service-driven dining experience. Your adaptability and willingness to work in multiple restaurant outlets based on need will be essential.
 
What You'll Do
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Ensure members and guests receive enthusiastic, prompt, and service-driven dining experiences.
  • Be a Team Player: Assist teammates whenever needed, contributing to a dynamic and hardworking team environment.
  • Maintain a Positive Attitude: Display a fresh, optimistic, and amiable demeanor to serve members and guests exceptionally.
  • Multi-task Efficiently: Think quickly on your feet and manage larger sections effectively.
  • Arrive Prepared: Start work on time in complete uniform, ready to greet members and guests.
  • Maintain Professionalism: Uphold a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Complete Duties: Perform all assigned side work, cleaning projects, and opening/closing duties.
  • Attend Meetings Punctually: Demonstrate consistent, punctual attendance for daily shift meetings and communicate new information to members and guests.
  • Follow Service Guidelines: Provide service as outlined in the Food Service Manual and Steps of Service Timeline, ensuring timing standards are met.
  • Engage with Guests: Make verbal and/or visual contact with all tables in your section.
  • Comply with Safety Policies: Adhere to all Club safety policies and procedures, reporting unsafe conditions and workplace injuries to a supervisor.
  • Memorize Menu Items: Be able to describe at least three main ingredients and the method of preparation for each menu item.
  • Participate in Training: Engage in all club-related training classes.
 
What You'll Bring
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of serving experience.
  • Certifications: Valid food handler’s and OLCC permits.
  • Etiquette Knowledge: Familiarity with proper etiquette for removing dishes and utensils from tables.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated excellence in customer/guest service.
  • Professional Interaction: Ability to interact with members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Ability to memorize menu items, including main ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to perform the essential job functions, including consistent walking, standing, and talking, as well as lifting up to 25 lb. and using trays for carrying items.
  • Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
