A growing and well-regarded hospitality group is seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily operations and lead front-of-house teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant General Manager is a key operational leader responsible for supporting the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant performance, including team leadership, guest satisfaction, and business execution. This is a full-time exempt position reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with corporate and regional leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Culture

Operational Excellence
  • Oversee day-to-day FOH operations with attention to detail and guest satisfaction

Guest Experience
  • Interact with guests and resolve issues professionally and promptly
  • Ensure ambiance, cleanliness, and service quality reflect brand standards
  • Promote community engagement and represent the company with integrity

Administrative Duties
  • Support financial reporting, payroll accuracy, and inventory processes
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance coaching
  • Lead or assist in event coordination, bar program execution, and local marketing efforts

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant leadership role
  • Strong leadership presence and people management skills
  • Proven ability to manage costs, drive sales, and support team performance
  • Certified Food Manager and TIPS Certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years old

PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires extended standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Occasional travel and off-site training may be required, sometimes with limited notice.
