About The Role:

Primary functions of this position will be to perform take-offs, formulation of proposals and final bidding of all types of construction including but not limited to healthcare facilities, manufacturing, restaurants, tenant improvements, schools, and commercial buildings.

We are seeking individuals who have a positive attitude and are leaders and self-starters with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform electrical estimating including commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities. The electrical estimator must be able to estimate plan and spec projects, as well as some design build projects. Once projects are acquired, they will quarterback client relations, scheduling, material procurement and will assist in transitioning projects seamlessly to project managers and respond to RFIs and pricing requests as required.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-10 years of commercial electrical estimating experience
  • Proficiency in either McCormick or Accubid Estimating software
  • Background with RFIs, cost estimates, hard bids, material take-offs, and reading blueprints
  • Experience estimating projects in the range of $100,000 to $10+ million dollars per project on average
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings, understand contract documents, and an overwhelming understanding of general electrical design and engineering concepts

Salary Range:

Compensation is $100-125,000 per year plus bonus opportunities
