Title: Director of Marketing / TooJay's / West Palm Beach, Florida THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE JOB, NOT REMOTE AND NOT HYBRID.
Since 1981 TooJay's New York-style Deli has been a fan favorite. With 20 locations across Florida, we are famous for piled-high sandwiches, hearty portions of homemade comfort foods and made-from-scratch soups, salads and baked goods.

POSITION SUMMARY
As TooJay's brand champion, the Director of Marketing leads our growth-oriented initiatives in all segments including dine-in, to-go, and catering through development and promotion of brand awareness to new guests and demographics as well as our loyal guest base. The Director of Marketing will work closely with the CEO to identify key areas for business growth, develop new opportunities, and execute strategies that will promote our continued expansion. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for all advertising, digital/social media, promotions, loyalty club management, brand standards, and in-store marketing for the TooJay's brand. This is a fully in-office position out of our HQ's in WPB, FL.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Generates revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing, development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy for the organization.
  • Proactively develops marketing plans that align with product development and sales efforts as well as driving execution of initiatives designed to promote revenue generation necessary for company growth and expansion
  • Develops programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results, leveraging data and analytics to drive insights
  • Develops, leads and implements the digital strategy for the brands, including but not limited to, email marketing/loyalty programs, SEO, social media, etc. Oversees all digital/social media initiatives and messaging for the brand
  • Plans, directs and coordinates marketing budgets in accordance to organizational goals
  • Manages marketing suppliers and corporate relationships including, but not limited to, agencies, gift card vendors, marketing service providers, charities and media vendors
  • Ensures articulation of desired image and position, consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization, and communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external
  • Develops segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and marketing development, menu planning, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning and revenue retention and growth
  • Coaches, guides, mentors, develops and manages the strategic thinking and execution level of the marketing team and working to implement short-term and long-term marketing strategies within current and emerging markets.
  • Oversees the development of new products
  • Involvement in other special projects and initiatives, as requested

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university).
Experience: A minimum of five years of related experience overseeing multiple restaurant units, casual dining and quick-serve restaurant experience required.
Computer Skills: Intermediate to Advanced (Microsoft Suite, etc.)
Travel Requirements: Travel, including overnight stays, may be required up to 10% of the time
