Located at The Star in Frisco, Imperial Room is a craft cocktail lounge focused on elevated drinks, genuine hospitality, and creating an experience guests want to come back to again and again.

This role will be primarily responsible for leading Imperial Room, with additional leadership support for Cane Rosso Frisco as needed. We are looking for someone who understands the details behind a great bar program but is also a strong restaurant leader who can coach a team, manage a busy shift, control costs, and create an incredible guest experience.

Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • One full week of paid vacation in your first year
  • Company-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Quarterly bonus potential
  • Free food on every shift because managers need fuel too
  • Ongoing leadership development and growth opportunities
  • Opportunity to help shape and grow a brand-new addition to PILF Restaurant Group
  • A company that believes hospitality should be fun, genuine, and never boring

What You'll Do

Lead the Bar & Beverage Program

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Imperial Room
  • Maintain high standards for cocktail execution, presentation, consistency, and speed
  • Coach and develop bartenders and cocktail servers on recipes, techniques, product knowledge, and hospitality
  • Maintain proper bar setup, organization, cleanliness, and closing standards
  • Manage liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supply inventory
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory counts, and maintaining appropriate par levels
  • Monitor beverage costs, waste, comps, spills, and overall cost controls
  • Help ensure all alcohol service and TABC standards are followed

Lead the Team

  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop a strong bar and service team
  • Create schedules based on business needs while managing labor responsibly
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to service and performance standards
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and keep the team informed, prepared, and energized
  • Recognize great performance and address opportunities quickly and professionally
  • Build a culture where people want to work, grow, and stick around

Own the Guest Experience

  • Be an active presence during service, not a manager hiding in the office
  • Create an atmosphere that feels polished and elevated without feeling stuffy
  • Build relationships with regulars while making first-time guests feel like they belong
  • Handle guest concerns confidently and turn problems into opportunities to create loyal guests
  • Maintain the overall vibe of Imperial Room, from cleanliness and music to lighting, service, and presentation

Support the Bigger Picture

  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team on daily operations and business performance
  • Support Cane Rosso Frisco as needed, including shift leadership, guest service, team support, and operational needs
  • Monitor labor, sales, beverage costs, and other key performance metrics
  • Oversee cash handling, deposits, tip outs, opening and closing procedures, and other administrative responsibilities
  • Work closely with culinary and restaurant leadership to keep both concepts operating smoothly
  • Help identify opportunities to increase sales, build regular clientele, and grow Imperial Room

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of restaurant or bar management experience
  • Strong craft cocktail and beverage knowledge is highly preferred
  • Experience leading bartenders and cocktail servers in a full-service or upscale bar environment
  • Understanding of liquor inventory, beverage costs, ordering, and bar controls
  • A hospitality-first leader who knows how to create an experience, not just serve a drink
  • Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills
  • Ability to balance the details of an elevated cocktail program with the realities of running a busy operation
  • Comfortable jumping behind the bar, onto the floor, or into Cane Rosso when the team needs you
  • Experience with systems such as Aloha/NCR, OpenTable Guest Center, R365, or Pulse is a plus
  • Must be available to work a Wednesday through Sunday schedule, including nights and weekends
