Job description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Care Department in Bolivar, Missouri. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the area: Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar has a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. About the department: The Respiratory Care Department sets a high standard for patient care and seeks to provide timely and quality respiratory care to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under medical supervision.
A typical day includes: Examining patients, performing diagnostic tests, applying multiple treatment methods, and monitoring and recording patient progress.
  • Utilizes equipment, supplies, and performs procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served
  • Modifies daily workload calculation to adjust for staffing needs
  • Documents procedures performed on patient and department records
  • Documents verbal orders for therapy and equipment

Job Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program with an Associates Degree
  • Experience: New graduates welcome; 1 year of experience preferred
  • Skills: Communication, teamwork, compassion, time-management
  • Licensure/Certification: Current State of Missouri Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Physical: Frequent walking, standing, bending; performing repetitive movements; ability to lift/carry up to 10lbs - 20lbs.

This position is: Part-time nights, 6pm-6am w/ shift differential
