Summary:

As a senior team member, you will apply your ERP knowledge and experience to support business partners across Methode Electronics and external client organizations. You will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable technology solutions, ensuring stakeholder expectations are clearly understood and met through successful IT initiatives of all sizes.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary resource for the analysis, administration, maintenance, and support of Methode Electronics' ERP systems, collaborating with both technical and functional teams as required.
  • Design, develop, document, test, implement, administer, maintain, and enhance ERP applications and related software solutions.
  • Partner with business users to analyze, document, and improve business processes and supporting documentation to meet operational and strategic objectives.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into configurable system functionality, workflows, and business rules. Participate in system design reviews and code walkthroughs to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Lead and support testing activities by collaborating with functional and technical teams to develop test plans, prepare test data, and execute integrated testing initiatives.
  • Create, review, and maintain comprehensive technical and business process documentation, including process flows, procedures, data relationships, system interfaces, functional specifications, and operational requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of standard ERP functionality by evaluating and recommending existing system capabilities or third-party solutions, minimizing the need for custom development whenever possible.
  • Support IT Help Desk operations by ensuring the timely, professional, and effective resolution of end-user issues and requests.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project managers, developers, and other team members involved in ERP-related initiatives.
  • Identify, develop, and deliver end-user training programs that improve system knowledge, increase user adoption, and promote self-sufficiency.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Level I and Level II analysts, supporting their professional development and technical growth.
  • Represent the End User Support (EUS) team in internal and external meetings, serving as a trusted subject matter expert and stakeholder liaison.
  • Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, including system configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting, implementing, and enhancing ERP applications within a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with financial and accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and related processes; experience implementing ERP financial modules is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Epicor CMS ERP (formerly SolarSoft) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP-related business processes, including MRP, inventory management, manufacturing operations, logistics, demand forecasting, and procurement.
  • Proficient in data analysis and querying techniques to support reporting, dashboards, spreadsheets, process flows, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Experience supporting a global, multi-site organization, including cross-functional and international business operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and related productivity tools.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require (~30%).

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
