Job Description
  • Maintains and updates personnel, performance management, and resource management data within applicable databases and tracking systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
  • Proofreads and edits military decorations and citations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Maintains unit personnel management rosters, unit manning documents, and related organizational and resource management records.
  • Assists with the submission, coordination, tracking, and processing of military awards and decorations.
  • Provides weekly status reports and briefings on the organization's awards and decorations program.
  • Develops and delivers semi-annual briefings on awards policies, directives, regulations, and processing requirements.
  • Maintains and integrates data across applicable personnel, manpower, awards, performance management, and resource management databases to track actions, coordinate requirements, and support leadership decision-making.
  • Coordinates manpower, personnel, and resource management activities with appropriate functional managers, stakeholders, and supporting organizations.
  • Assists in developing, documenting, and maintaining operating instructions, standard operating procedures, business processes, and related guidance.
  • Leads operations and data integration efforts to streamline, standardize, and automate recurring HR, personnel, manpower, and resource management workflows to improve organizational efficiency, data accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Establishes and maintains an integrated employee record capability by consolidating and synchronizing personnel data from authoritative systems, including DCPDS, MilPDS, and other applicable personnel and resource management systems, to improve data integrity and business efficiencies.
  • Maintains, stores, validates, and updates employee and organizational records in accordance with United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Department of Defense (DoD), and Higher Headquarters (HHQ) policies, regulations, and data management requirements.
  • Supports authorized users in executing core HR, personnel, resource management, and performance management processes through integrated systems and standardized workflows.
  • Coordinates the secure ingestion, integration, validation, and export of HR, personnel, manpower, and resource management data through authorized interfaces with DoD systems and mission partners.
  • Performs data quality reviews and reconciliations across multiple personnel and resource management systems to identify discrepancies, improve data accuracy, and maintain consistent organizational records.
  • Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and data visualization products to provide leadership with timely insight into personnel, manpower, performance management, awards, and other organizational resource requirements.
  • Updates and maintains the S1/7 SharePoint site to ensure organizational information, resources, documents, and data products remain accurate, current, and accessible to authorized users.

Job Requirements
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in a related field; eight (8) years of relevant experience.
SOFTWARE/TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, HireVue, Salesforce, MS Power BI, Tableau, and Trello.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret
LOCATION: El Segundo, CA. On-Site

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing maybe required This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
