Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Supervisor helps lead daily service across Sand Valley's dining outlets, keeping the floor organized, the team supported, and the guest experience warm and well paced. This role works closely with Food & Beverage leaders, culinary partners, and service team members to coach in the moment, solve problems as they arise, and help create dining experiences that feel thoughtful, genuine, and connected to the Sand Valley setting.
What You'll Do
  • Support day-to-day food and beverage operations across assigned outlets, helping service run smoothly and consistently.
  • Lead, train, coach, and support service and support team members during onboarding, daily service, and ongoing development.
  • Help maintain Sand Valley service standards through clear communication, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and service readiness across dining areas, service stations, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Support par levels, inventory flow, restocking, and cost control practices for food, beverage, and service supplies.
  • Assist with beverage controls, including key security, cash handling, inventory tracking, and variance follow-up.
  • Support wine and beverage service under the guidance of Food & Beverage leadership and the Wine Director.
  • Help team members work together across outlets, kitchens, and support areas with a collaborative and guest-centered approach.
  • Stay aware of guest needs and step in where needed to support service, solve problems, and keep the experience moving well.
  • Take on other duties as needed to support the Food & Beverage team and overall resort operations.

What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • At least two years of food and beverage experience, with supervisory, management, or strong hands-on service experience preferred.
  • A calm, steady leadership style with the ability to coach, encourage, and hold team members accountable.
  • Working knowledge of service standards, inventory control, sanitation practices, and basic cost awareness.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to stay organized while managing details during active service.
  • Comfort using POS systems and Microsoft Office; advanced experience is helpful.
  • A professional presence, dependable work habits, and a willingness to stay engaged wherever support is needed.
  • Completion of required alcohol service, food handling, and tobacco training prior to or within 30 days of employment.
