About the Position

WB Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Lomira hospitality property. This role is responsible for creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while delivering an outstanding experience for every guest.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hotel management experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to successfully manage employees, guest relations, financial performance, and hotel operations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily hotel operations, including the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, guest relations, and other operational areas.
  • Assist team members with daily responsibilities as needed to support efficient hotel operations.
  • Maintain high standards for guest service, cleanliness, quality, and safety.
  • Create a guest-focused culture and ensure visitors receive exceptional service throughout their stay.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, feedback, and service issues.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate hotel employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training to support employee development.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotions and packages that increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Monitor hotel budgets, expenses, revenue, and financial reports.
  • Track occupancy levels, room rates, and market trends to support pricing and revenue strategies.
  • Identify cost-control opportunities and recommend operational improvements.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to obtain high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
  • Enforce hotel health, safety, security, and operational procedures.
  • Obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications related to pool and food-service operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment, health, safety, lodging, and food-service regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Hotel Manager or in a comparable hospitality leadership position.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to remain professional and make sound decisions during challenging guest, employee, or operational situations.
  • Experience with hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
