About the Position:

The Director of Sales and Marketing is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing activities at Treetops Resort. This role involves developing strategic initiatives to maximize revenue from group sales, events, lodging, dining, and recreation. The ideal candidate has a proven track

record of success in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase market share.

Lead the sales team in identifying and securing group bookings for corporate events, weddings,conferences, and leisure travel.

Oversee the marketing team in creating and implementing campaigns that elevate the Treetops Resort brand and drive guest engagement across digital, print, and social media platforms.

Foster strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance repeat business and drive new opportunities.

Analyze market trends, competition, and guest feedback to adapt strategies and identify growth opportunities.

Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achievement of ROI on marketing initiatives.

Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Treetops Resort as a premier destination.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless guest experience that aligns with marketing promises.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the sales and marketing team.

Track and report on sales performance, marketing ROI, and other KPIs, presenting updates to senior leadership.

Other duties as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales and marketing leadership position within the hospitality or resort industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully managing marketing campaigns.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing platforms, and data analytics tools.

Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
