Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Data Integration Developer to design, develop, and support custom database and ETL applications for Global Sales & Marketing within the Global Distribution team. This role involves working independently and collaboratively with end users to interpret requirements, develop functional specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.                                            
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom database and ETL applications using industry-standard tools.
  • Participate in system enhancements, application support, and code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards.
  • Collaborate with non-technical end users to interpret and document requirements and create functional specifications.
  • Perform system and unit testing, develop project-level test plans, and ensure quality assurance.
  • Create application support documentation for critical processes and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Manage multiple projects, track progress, and provide status reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide off-hour support as needed for project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 9+ years of experience in database development on major RDBMS platforms (Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase ASE, DB2).
  • 6+ years of experience with ETL tools (Ab Initio or Informatica).
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
  • Proficiency in data objects such as JSON and XML.
  • Experience writing Unix shell scripts and Windows batch scripts.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and implementation processes.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to develop support materials for applications to promote knowledge sharing.
