• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine individualized therapy strategies for each client.
• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with state and federal regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay current with the latest research in mental health.

Your role will focus on serving a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise in family therapy and trauma-informed approaches will be vital in addressing the complex needs of these clients, ultimately contributing to their recovery and resilience.

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting that involves direct client care.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to optimize client outcomes.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies is essential.

• Specializations in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse recovery, or trauma therapy are highly preferred.
• Experience in community mental health settings, particularly with underserved populations, is a plus.
