Youth Residential Home Manager - Moorhead

Wage: $26 - $28 per hour DOE

Blue Sky, Inc is looking for a House Manager for our residential group home in Moorhead, MN that provides in-home support to teens and adults (ages 10-18) with developmental/intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral difficulties who live outside of their family home. Join our team and be a part of an organization that strives to improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve.

The House Manager will:

  • Oversee one home.
  • Monitor case management services to assigned consumer.
  • Coordinate intake, admission, and demission process.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of program curriculum regularly.
  • Encourage and provide opportunity for individual choice and creative options.
  • Ensure upkeep, safety and maintenance of site and other company property.
  • Supervise, hire, and train facility staff.
  • Ensure adequate staffing ratios and other requirements are met.
  • Have regular contact with clients, staff, and family members.
  • Ensure the health and safety of clients and staff at all times.
  • Other duties as outlined in the position’s full job description.

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience with direct care of adults or children with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Intermediate computer knowledge to complete required reporting
  • A degree in psychology, nursing, or social work preferred, but not required.
