We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and relationship-driven Customer Experience Manager with a passion for agriculture, customer engagement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Working directly with the VP of Customer Experience and the Director of Partner Experience, this customer-facing role is responsible for driving customer engagement and strengthening relationships across assigned strategic retail accounts. Through regular in-person customer touchpoints, proactive communication, product education, and ongoing support, the Customer Experience Manager ensures customers maximize the value of the Taranis platform and remain confident in their partnership with Taranis.
This role requires a high-touch, relationship-driven approach focused on building trust, increasing platform adoption, communicating customer value, and creating an exceptional customer experience throughout the growing season. Success in this role comes from representing Taranis with professionalism and credibility, developing trusted customer relationships, anticipating customer needs, and serving as a proactive, solutions-oriented partner who helps customers achieve their business objectives.
Position Objective
Ensure every assigned customer feels engaged, supported, and confident in the value of their partnership with Taranis. Through proactive communication, regular in-person engagement, and trusted relationships, the Customer Experience Manager drives platform adoption, customer satisfaction, and long-term customer success.
As the primary customer-facing representative for assigned strategic retail accounts, this role serves as the face of Taranis in the field-building trust, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring customers realize measurable value from the Taranis platform. Success in this role is measured by customer engagement, platform adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and the overall health of assigned accounts.
Success in this role comes from building trusted relationships, delivering exceptional customer experiences, communicating clear customer value, anticipating customer needs, and quickly coordinating solutions that help customers maximize the value of the Taranis platform.
Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
  • Develop and execute proactive customer engagement plans that ensure customers remain connected and engaged throughout the growing season.
  • Conduct regular in-person customer touchpoints with field-level customer stakeholders to build relationships, provide support, and reinforce the value of the Taranis platform.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with retail partners, growers, and field-level customer stakeholders through consistent communication and follow-through.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business objectives, operational goals, and measures of success.
  • Ensure customers receive timely communication, guidance, and ongoing support throughout the growing season.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and proactively address concerns before they become issues.
  • Represent Taranis professionally during every customer interaction, building confidence and strengthening long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure every customer interaction strengthens the partnership and reinforces the value of Taranis.

Customer Experience & Enablement
  • Partner with the VP of Customer Experience and the Director of Partner Experience to execute customer engagement strategies across assigned strategic accounts.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by serving as a trusted advisor for assigned customers.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the Taranis platform, products, and capabilities.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, customer presentations, and training sessions.
  • Provide guidance and best practices for onboarding, enrollment, platform navigation, boundary management, and maximizing the value of the Taranis platform.
  • Set clear expectations before the season and proactively follow up throughout the year.
  • Anticipate customer needs, assess challenges, and quickly coordinate internal resources to ensure timely resolution.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills in dynamic customer situations.
  • Gather customer feedback and advocate for continuous improvements to the customer experience.

Platform Adoption & Value
  • Promote adoption of the Taranis platform by educating customers on platform capabilities, best practices, and agronomic workflows.
  • Clearly communicate the agronomic and business value of the platform, ensuring customers understand and realize their return on investment (ROI).
  • Share customer successes, seasonal milestones, and measurable outcomes that reinforce the value of the Taranis partnership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer adoption, engagement, and overall satisfaction.
  • Partner with Regional Account Managers, Customer Success, Product, Agronomy, Marketing, and Operations to communicate customer insights and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing structured field feedback that supports product enhancements and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in agribusiness, AgTech, customer experience, account management, technical support, or another customer-facing agricultural role.
  • Strong understanding of the agriculture industry; agronomy experience is preferred but not required.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging product demonstrations, customer presentations, and training sessions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly, prioritize effectively, and navigate dynamic customer situations.
  • Ability to represent Taranis professionally and confidently while building trusted relationships with strategic customers.
  • Highly energetic, outgoing, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
