Resident Manager / Live-In Caregiver (Developmental Disabilities Adult Foster Home)Location: Eugene, Oregon
Position Type: Full-Time, Live-In
Compensation: $4,800–$6,500/month + free room, utilities, and meals
About Us
Tradition Care LLC is a licensed Adult Foster Home providing compassionate, person-centered care for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We create a safe, structured, family-like home where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and individualized support.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Resident Manager / Live-In Caregiver to oversee daily operations of our licensed DD Adult Foster Home while providing direct resident care.
This is a live-in leadership role combining caregiving, household oversight, staff support, medication administration, documentation, and compliance with Oregon DD licensing standards.
Coverage typically includes four 24-hour shifts per week. Private living accommodations are provided.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Care
  •  Assist residents with ADLs, including hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, feeding support, and medication administration 
  •  Support residents with emotional reassurance, behavior support, and crisis de-escalation 
  •  Encourage independence, dignity, choice, and community participation 
  •  Coordinate appointments, outings, and activities 
Home Operations & Leadership
  •  Oversee day-to-day home operations 
  •  Supervise and support caregiving staff 
  •  Help maintain staffing coverage and communication 
  •  Maintain a clean, safe, organized home 
  •  Oversee household supplies, meals, and general operations 
  •  Ensure documentation, medication records, and incident reports are completed accurately 
Compliance & Safety
  •  Maintain compliance with Oregon DD Adult Foster Home regulations 
  •  Monitor resident health and report concerns promptly 
  •  Communicate with families, guardians, case managers, healthcare providers, and licensing representatives 
  •  Implement behavior support plans, safety protocols, and emergency procedures 
Qualifications
Required
  •  Minimum 2 years caregiving experience, preferably in: 
    •  Developmental disabilities 
    •  Adult foster homes 
    •  Group homes 
    •  Behavioral support settings 
  •  Leadership or house management experience preferred 
  •  Ability to pass Oregon background check 
  •  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  •  Ability to lift/assist up to 50 lbs 
  •  Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills 
  •  Calm, dependable, compassionate, and self-motivated 
Required Training (or willingness to obtain)
  •  Oregon DD Adult Foster Home required training/orientation 
  •  CPR/First Aid 
  •  Medication Administration 
  •  OIS or approved crisis intervention training (if required) 
  •  Abuse reporting training 
  •  DSP/core competency training 
  •  Person-centered support training 
  •  Food handler card (if applicable)
