OVERNIGHT HOUSEPERSON - RESIDENCE INN BOSTON DOWNTOWN/SEAPORT
Address - 370 Congress St
Pay Range - $26
Shifts - Weekdays and Weekends, 11pm to 7am
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic overnight Houseperson to join our team at Residence Inn at Boston Downtown/Seaport.This is your chance to start to join a growing company that values your passion and dedication.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for assisting all housekeeping personnel in the performance of heavy-duty work as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with guests, vendors, co-workers and management.
  • Remove dirty linen from cleaning carts or designated area and deliver to laundry as assigned.
  • Clean all guest corridors, floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas as assigned.
  • Remove trash from cleaning carts and deposit in dumpsters.
  • Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
  • Clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment.
  • Dusts and polishes metal work.
  • Help the room attendants with the heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be available to work 11PM - 7AM weekdays, holidays and weekends
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from the groups of managers, co-workers, vendors, and customers.
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift and walk for extended period of time.
  • Ability to move, lift and carry, push pull, and place heavy objects.
