Job description

Rooms Supervisor

The Rooms Supervisor at Hampton Inn Boston Natick oversees the daily operations of the Front Desk and Rooms Division, ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient hotel operations. This role combines hands-on leadership with team supervision, focusing on guest satisfaction, room readiness, and seamless coordination with housekeeping and other departments. Working closely with the Operations Manager and General Manager and key departments, the Rooms Supervisor helps maintain service standards, supports staff development, and contributes to the overall performance of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Front Desk and Rooms Division to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth operations
  • Supervise, train, and support team members; provide coaching, feedback, and performance accountability
  • Ensure accurate reservations, check-in/check-out, billing, and room status coordination with housekeeping
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction scores
  • Monitor staffing levels, schedules, and departmental expenses to meet operational goals
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and brand requirements
  • Act as Manager on Duty as needed and support overall hotel operations

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hotel front office or rooms experience; supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with hotel systems (PEP/MS Office preferred)
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and vendors
