We are seeking an Administrative Clerk to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations by performing a variety of clerical, data entry, and customer service tasks. This position ensures the accurate processing of financial transactions, supports account management functions, and provides timely assistance to internal teams and offices. 


Schedule (days/hours)
Monday-Friday, flexible 8-hour shift between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST
Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter payment transfers into patient accounts
  • Review accounts and approve/process patient and insurance refunds
  • Balance refunds processed on the previous day to ensure accuracy
  • Investigate and respond to discrepancies in collaboration with the Accounting team
  • Perform data entry of pre-authorization approvals and denials
  • Monitor shared email inboxes and respond promptly to office inquiries, including providing website authorization codes
  • Reset passwords for dental-related websites and update shared access portals
  • Create new website logins when access is not currently available
  • Provide support to offices by answering questions related to refunds and transfers

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar administrative role or in claims review
  • Strong commitment to a G3 approach: Greeting, Guiding, and expressing Gratitude in all communications
  • Proficiency in 10-key data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
$15 - $16/hr + Bonus
