Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for Testing a Financial App for Italian Business Owners based in Netherlands.

This is a short-term, paid freelance opportunity for Italian business owners to test a financial platform's new business-account onboarding experience.
You will act as a real first-time business user, completing the onboarding journey for your company and sharing honest, practical feedback.
Your observations will help identify functional issues and usability problems before the experience reaches a wider audience.
The work is structured around a focused testing assignment, supported by clear instructions and testing resources.
You will record any defects you encounter through an online testing platform and help improve the experience for businesses across Italy.
The opportunity is fully remote and offers flexibility alongside other professional or personal commitments.
No previous software testing experience is required, making this a practical way to gain experience in professional QA and app testing.

Accountabilities
  • Create a business account for your Italian Limited Company as part of the assigned testing flow, following the provided instructions.
  • Test the new-user onboarding experience from the perspective of a genuine first-time business customer.
  • Perform functional testing across the assigned user journey and carefully observe the behaviour of the platform.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, defects, usability issues, or unexpected behaviour through the designated defect-tracking platform.
  • Provide clear and honest feedback about the onboarding experience, including areas that could be confusing, inefficient, or difficult for business owners.
  • Follow the testing instructions and materials provided through the freelance testing platform.
  • Complete the initial account setup and assigned testing task within the required timeframe.
  • Participate in additional testing requests when relevant, based on project needs and availability.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be physically located in Italy during the testing assignment.
  • Own an Italian Limited Company (Societa a Responsabilita Limitata - S.R.L. or S.R.L.S.).
  • Be fluent in Italian and comfortable completing the testing experience in Italian.
  • Be willing to create a new business account for your Limited Company as part of the test.
  • Do not already have a business account associated with your Limited Company. A personal account is acceptable.
  • Have approximately 30 minutes available to set up your testing-platform account and approximately 2 hours to complete the paid testing assignment.
  • Have access to at least one required device: iPhone or iPad, Android phone or tablet, and/or laptop or desktop computer.
  • Be detail-oriented and able to clearly describe issues and provide useful feedback.
  • Previous software testing experience is a plus but is not required; training resources and introductory courses are available for newcomers.
  • Be comfortable working independently in a remote freelance environment.
Benefits
  • Remote: Complete your testing work from wherever you are in Italy.
  • Flexible schedule: Choose when to work and take on other testing opportunities that fit your interests and availability.
  • Paid testing: The assigned testing task requires approximately 2 hours and is paid.
  • Pay rate: $30 USD per hour.
  • Payment frequency: Paid weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.
  • Paid by time: Compensation is based on hours worked rather than the number of bugs discovered.
  • Professional growth: Gain hands-on experience testing globally used digital products and develop your software testing skills.
  • Training: Access free preparatory testing courses and resources, even if you are new to software testing.
  • Flexible freelance model: Short-term work with a regular weekly cadence and potential additional ad-hoc requests.
