How does a reservations coordinator handle high-volume booking periods, and what support is available?

Many organizations provide additional support, such as temporary staff or cross-training team members, to help manage the workload. Coordinators may also work closely with other departments, like sales and front desk teams, to resolve overbooking issues and accommodate guest requests. Maintaining strong organizational and communication skills is key to thriving during these busy times.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a reservations coordinator, and why are they important?
