As a research neuropsychologist, you specialize in the study of the physical brain and its connection to human behavior. You perform research and study neurological disorders and how they affect animal and human behavior. You may design experiments, make observations, work with teams of researchers, scientists, and other experts to form conclusions and analyze data, develop solutions to treat diseases and conditions, and apply neuroscience and psychology theories and data to your findings. Your responsibilities include managing lab experiments, accurately recording data and results, and developing new programs to test theories. Depending on the position and the institution for which you work, your duties may also include grant writing and fundraising tasks.
