Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Cath Lab Float Pool Registered Nurse you will deliver exceptional, patient-centered care within invasive cardiology, leveraging your expertise to optimize quality examinations and interventions. This dynamic role requires a highly skilled and adaptable RN to provide critical support across various departments and sites within our Texas Market, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding patient outcomes.
Every day you will assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established organizational standards, prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will actively perform duties as a circulating, scrub, and monitoring nurse during invasive cardiology procedures, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of diverse procedures, essential equipment, and supply management. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in supervising room staff performance, coordinating efficient room schedules, and proactively communicating with Cath Lab management to optimize resource utilization.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in invasive cardiology, coupled with an unwavering commitment to patient care standards and safety. Your ability to think critically, adapt quickly to changing environments, and function effectively across multiple locations with minimal notice (including day-of staffing) will be paramount. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for supervising staff and collaborating with the Cath Lab management team and Clinical Leaders.
Float Cath Lab Tech III B: Employees (at times w/in minimum of a 2 hour notice) will agree to float to any facility within the Texas division. Must be available to be scheduled for a minimum of 3 shifts every week and available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other weekend. Must be available to be scheduled for two major holidays per policy. May take Call.
Mileage reimbursement and applicable differentials will apply if eligible.

Job Requirements
Required
  • Associates Degree, Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular technology program
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCIS OR Registered Technologist Radiography, ARRT
  • Two (2) years clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • BLS
  • ACLS
