Summary: 
 

The Sr. Project Manager- Energy Storage, North America serves as the lead of a cross functional matrixed team built to deliver multiple projects simultaneously. The Sr. Project Manager โ€“ Energy Storage, North America shall manage relationships with key stakeholders and deliver Excellence for our clients on RES Energy Storage projects via RESolve. The Sr. Project Manager- Energy Storage, North America will take ownership of the entire project performance including safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. This role will be responsible for contract administration, project planning, labor and equipment resource management.

This role will be hybrid requiring a minimum of 3 days in office.

Requirements:   
 

  • Manages all phases of the Energy Storage via RESolve projects including contract execution, engineering, procurement, scheduling, construction, commissioning, and all closeout processes.  
  • Leads and manages internal field and office project teams, including working closely with multiple departments internal to RES, in addition to any external vendors and subcontractors necessary to complete a project.
  • Develops, manages, and maintains the project schedule and the project execution plan covering each scope and discipline of the project(s).
  • Ensures that all engineering, procurement, submittals, and work plans are in place to facilitate the execution of work as scheduled.
  • Develops, manages, maintains and reports on project budgets to ensure effective change management. 
  • Identifies and proactively manages project risks and create risk-mitigation plans.
  • Ensures the project team and all associated subcontractors understanding and adherence to the client contract, associated exhibits and project specific agreements.
  • Assists with reviewing proposals, reviewing statements of works, creating requisitions, reviewing invoices, etc. relating to RESolve projects.
  • Leads creation of SOW through contract discussions and ensures alignment of work products against the approved contractual scope of work.
  • Provides periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reporting to project stakeholders
  • Organizes and chairs regularly scheduled progress meetings to discuss status with client project teams.
  • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
  • Supports commissioning group to deliver test plans and methodologies to ensure control system solution functions and performs as intended and meets contractual requirements.
  • Supports IC&S team to ensure controls system deployment satisfies requirements/specifications and follows all applicable contractual standards and guidelines.
  • Develops high-quality relationships with Owners and supports the Business Development team in establishing new business and maintaining key accounts.
  • Responds to inquiries related to the status of RESolve solution and/or services and participates in information gathering.
  • Takes and distributes meeting minutes to summarize project status, schedule, open issues, and action items.
  • Approves purchases of project related materials and equipment.
  • Supports Engineering, SCADA, & RESolve personnel with purchasing, installation, troubleshooting and issue resolution of problems related to controls integration deployments.
  • Provides support to RES departments during the respective phases of a project, as necessary.
  • Facilitates negotiations of Master Service Agreements and Project Agreements between Ownerโ€™s Stakeholders and RESโ€™ executive leadership and counsel.
  • Consults with stakeholders to fully understand, define, and document user requirements and functional specifications
  • Co-Creation of RESolve processes and procedures for operations in North America.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Project Management, Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience (8+ years)
  • PMP certification (or ability to obtain one within a year) required
  • 8 years or more relevant project management experience required
  • 3 years or more Battery Storage Project Management experience preferred.
  • 1 year or more BESS and/or PV Commissioning Experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 16-30% required
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License required

Anticipated base salary range: $104,200 - $130,200

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
