Job description

Job Description
  • Ensure that job tickets are properly filled out before beginning work.
  • Perform copy, print, minor scanning and intake functions as needed and according to established procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisor or client on job or deadline issues.
  • Proficient - Expert communication skills; especially when dealing with clients - On a daily basis: prioritize work assignments based on deadlines, overall site workload, machine capability and job needs.
  • Meet negotiated deadlines for print requests.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment problems.
  • Load copiers with various paper and toner.
  • Competent - Proficient skill with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Proficient skill with Windows OS
  • Able to use Fiery equipment to produce high volume color finishes on published documents
  • Use the functions on the printers (including advanced printing/copying software)
  • Perform basic printer upkeep including loading paper, replacing toner waste and/or staple cartridges, and clearing jams
  • Operating binding equipment and performing finishing requests
  • Processing printing requests (both hard copy and electronic), locating printing orders, and preparing orders for shipping
  • Competent - Proficient in the use of a variety of print-related equipment such as staplers, folders. Novice skill level acceptable for wire binding, collators.
  • Handle the ordering and stocking/replacing of toner, paper, and additional printing materials as they run out
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to follow directives and adhere to processing procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lb with or without assistance
  • Maintain all work logs for reporting purposes
  • Hours: Sun 3p-12a, Monday-Thursday 5:30p-2a
  • Overtime hours as required

"The pay range for this position starts at $27.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered."
