Nando's PERiPERi USA is a growing restaurant group seeking a Strategy, Reporting, & Analytics Intern to join our Restaurant Support family. We're known for our flamegrilled chicken, our South African roots, and our passion for putting people at the center of everything we do.

Split between the USA Strategy and the Data, Insights, and Analytics teams, you will play a key role in helping the business make well-researched and rounded decisions. In addition, you will support FP&A, reporting, and data/analytics activities that support the market CEO and the leadership team. By designing and maintaining automated dashboards, supporting business case development and ROI studies, you will help leaders make thoughtful, factual, and data-driven decisions with confidence, clarity, and fairness - all while reinforcing our shared values across the business.

YOUR ROLE

Report to the Senior Manager, FP&A with a close relationship to the Managing Director of Strategy and Sr. Director Data and Analytics, you will play a key role in enabling the USA Leadership Team to leverage data and reporting to make critical business decisions. Supporting functional leaders and department heads across the organization, you will assist in modernizing and evolving our dynamic data/reporting capabilities and resources to help propel the growth of the Nando's USA business.

Insights, Reporting & Data Integrity

Partner with Restaurant Support and Operations teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear, consistent dashboards.

Design reporting layouts that bring agreed metrics to life in a way that supports decision-making.

Create custom dashboards by department in partnership with functional leaders to capture their desired reporting metrics.

Develop, test, and maintain dashboards to ensure accuracy, integrity, and trust.

Safeguard data integrity by validating inputs, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring consistency across systems.

Document processes and standards so reporting remains reliable, transparent, and scalable.

Business Planning & ROI Support

Draft ROI studies, business cases, and project plans that support enterprise decision-making.

Analyze operational and financial data to support recommendations and scenario planning.

Prepare materials that help leaders evaluate investments, risks, and strategic options.

Support in preparing content for forums, risk reviews, and board-level materials.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Collaboration

Partner with the MD, Strategy and Business Planning to align reporting and planning priorities.

Collaborate with the functional owners (Finance, HR, Operations, Procurement, and other RS functions) and/or their delegates to understand their respective strategies and needs to ensure consistent business terms and reporting.

Serve as the accountable owner for the integration, design, development, and delivery of dashboards that unify Restaurant Support and Operations Support reporting.

Capture Global Shared Values (Social and Economic Inclusion, Planet, Community Engagement, South African Sourcing) metrics and report quarterly to Global Brand Leadership.

Reinforce Nando's values and shared language through internal and external reporting.

General FP&A + Ops Finance Support

Prepare weekly sales summaries, including commentary and key takeaways.

Participate in periodic P&L reviews, contributing insights and performance analysis.

Analyze guest behavior and sales trends through key performance metrics, including order mode and menu mix analysis.

Evaluate marketing initiatives and measure performance against business goals and objectives.

Proactively identify and highlight opportunities within the P&L to drive cost efficiency.
