Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and advises on conceptual, logical, and physical modeling of the data models necessary to meet the distributed reporting needs of departmental report developers
- Ensures security and metadata standards for distributed reporting are maintained and coordinated with the data warehouse team
- Works with department developers, analysts and Technical System Owners to ensure applications meet performance requirements
- Validates that the ETL mappings created by departmental developers contains the correct documentation, integration with enterprise data marts, and logic (including business logic for transformations)
- Assists in the development and implementation of a distributed data governance lifecycle, including testing and validation techniques, and data management policies and standards
- Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures primarily to meet distributed reporting needs
- Develops performance enhancing features as needed to ensure speedy delivery of data to report users
