Overview

The Senior Data Analytics and Reporting Developer serves as a technical leader in the design,development, and optimization of enterprise-level data reporting solutions. This role isresponsible for architecting advanced dashboards, automated reporting pipelines, and analyticalmodels that empower strategic decision-making across the organization. The Senior Developercollaborates with business leaders, drives best practices, mentors team members, and ensuresdata quality, scalability, and performance across reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Leads the design, development, and enhancement of sophisticated reports, dashboards, andanalytics solutions that support strategic and operational objectives. Develops highly interactive, scalable, and visually compelling dashboards using Power BI,Tableau, or comparable BI platforms. Builds and maintains applications, forms, and workflows in Oracle APEX to supportbusiness processes and extend reporting capabilities. Architects and manages complex ETL processes to integrate data from diverse internal andexternal sources. Establishes and enforces data validation, quality standards, and governance practices toensure accuracy and reliability across all reporting assets. Conducts advanced analyses to identify trends, patterns, forecasts, and actionable insights inlarge and complex datasets. Partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business needs intotechnical reporting requirements and long-term data strategies. Optimizes reporting workflows by designing automated, reusable, and efficient data modelsand data pipelines. Serves as a subject matter expert in BI tools, SQL, and data modeling, guiding teams towardbest practices in analytics development. Reviews and enhances existing reporting solutions for performance, usability, andcompliance with organizational standards.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities Evaluates, recommends, and implements new analytics technologies, reporting frameworks,and methodologies to advance organizational data capabilities. Mentors junior developers and analysts, providing guidance, code reviews, and assistancewith complex reporting tasks. Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, DataAnalytics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. 7-10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, orrelated systems, preferably with at least 3-5 years of healthcareexperience. Extensive hands-on experience developing, optimizing, andmanaging enterprise BI reports and dashboards using Power BI,Tableau, Excel, or similar tools. Demonstrated experience leadingreporting or analytics projects, optimizing data pipelines, andimplementing best practices for BI development. Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities, with proven expertise in improving reportingefficiency and data quality. Ability to work independently andcollaboratively while influencing cross-functional teams andstakeholders.

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Advanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau; Power BI certification(e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) strongly preferred.Expert-level SQL skills for complex querying, data transformation, andperformance optimization, including experience with Oracle SQL.Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake) isa plus.
