Data Analytics And Reporting Developer

The Data Analytics And Reporting Developer is responsible for designing and developing data reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to support business decisions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements, transform data, and deliver high-quality, interactive visualizations. The position ensures data accuracy and optimizes reporting processes for improved efficiency and decision-making.

Responsibilities

โ€ข Designs, develops, and maintains custom reports and dashboards to meet the data needs of various business units.

โ€ข Builds interactive and visually appealing dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms.

โ€ข Extracts, transforms, and loads (ETL) data from multiple sources into the reporting tools and systems.

โ€ข Ensures data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks.

โ€ข Applies analytical techniques and tools to uncover trends, patterns, and insights in large datasets.

โ€ข Performs ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific areas of interest based on stakeholder needs.

โ€ข Works closely with business users, managers, and leadership to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Five years of experience in Information Systems. Two to five years of experience in health care. Proven experience in developing and managing reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data reporting processes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Special Skills, Licenses and Certifications

Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is essential, with Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) preferred. Strong skills in SQL for data querying, along with expertise in data modeling and ETL processes, are required. Additional certifications in analytics or business intelligence tools are a plus.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

More than 80% of work time is spent in front of a computer monitor. May be required to lift, carry, or move equipment of varying size, weighing up to 50 lbs. May be required to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, or work in other non-standing and non-sitting positions to install cabling, systems hardware, and other related equipment.

HIRING RANGE:

$103,059.95 - $133,977.94
