Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum 1 year cherry picker experience

● Accurately pick part numbers from an overstock location with an order (cherry) picker

● Accurately take part numbers to their handpick location

● Make real time movements of inventory to make them easily accessible

● Keep track of inventory and make investigations if needed

● Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring products are replenished in the correct handpick locations

● Perform regular cycle counting processes

● Utilize the first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory management by moving older stock to the front

● Keep a clean and organized work environment

● Understand and adhere to organizational and department policy and procedures while always maintaining professionalism

● Follow all safety protocols in compliance with department policies, as well as federal and state regulations

● Perform other warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements:

● Attention to detail and accuracy in reading part numbers

● Ability to be MHE certified and can safely operate various types of forklift equipment as needed

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

● Ability to effectively train other replenish clerks

● Ability to utilize tablet and scanner systems for inventory processing

● Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data

● Team environment but self-motivated

● Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately

● Attendance at work and punctuality are an essential function of this position

● Required frequently: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and work in hot or cold temperatures
