Warehouse Associate Repack

Job Description

Schedule 6:00am to 2:00pm, with rotating days off (Overtime as needed is required)

The Role: We are seeking hard-working and reliable warehouse workers to join our growing operation.

Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining a steady supply of product in stock for the picking crew; receive accurately as well as keep a running account of all inventory and its locations. Pull partial orders and prepare them for delivery to customers. Prepare and package individual produce items in bags and bunches on the line when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (any combination of the following job duties):

  • All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality
  • Reviews assignment sheet and reports to appropriate work station.
  • Applies labels as necessary to individual containers.
  • Folds corrugated boxes.
  • Fills individual containers or boxes with specific quantity or weight of produce item or items.
  • Weighs individual packages to verify that the correct weight/amount of product is enclosed.
  • Sets packaged items on pallets for transfer to correct cooler.
  • At end of shift, the employee is responsible for cleaning work table and surrounding area. This includes wiping down table and scales with a rag and sanitizer, and sweeping floor.

Peripheral Duties: As assigned by lead or supervisor

Qualifications

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year warehouse/picking experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and high level of effort
  • Ability to work in frozen (-10 F) and refrigerated (36 F) environments
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight time lines
  • Team Player
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations (reading scale)
  • Attendance is critical; employee must be dependable to report to work on time as scheduled
  • Ability to observe and follow proper safety procedures, and a willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions
