Job description

This role is responsible for leading daily bulk picking operations while ensuring customer and internal orders are accurately picked, staged, and prepared in a safe, organized, and efficient manner. The Bulk Picker Lead will help coordinate workflow, support team productivity, train team members, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support daily activities of the bulk picking team
  • Coordinate workflow and prioritize orders to support operational needs and shipping schedules
  • Pick and verify orders using pick tickets and scanners
  • Pull items from warehouse locations based on quantity, size, color, and quality requirements
  • Ensure order accuracy before staging for shipment or delivery
  • Stage and organize completed orders in designated areas
  • Shrink wrap pallets and pack orders as needed
  • Operate material handling equipment, including cherry picker/order picker lifts, safely and in accordance with company policies and training requirements
  • Assist with training and onboarding new team members on processes, procedures, and safety expectations
  • Monitor productivity and help maintain department performance goals
  • Support inventory accuracy through proper scanning and documentation
  • Communicate operational issues, inventory concerns, and workflow challenges to leadership
  • Promote and follow all health and safety standards
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
  • Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous warehouse, order picking, fulfillment, or distribution experience required
  • Previous lead, trainer, or team coordination experience preferred
  • Previous experience operating a cherry picker/order picker lift preferred; must be able to obtain company-required equipment certification
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Comfortable using handheld scanners or warehouse technology
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Ability to work independently and support team operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
