Location

Fully remote. Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S. but must be licensed with the California Bar.


Note

Candidates must have real employment law and litigation experience and be comfortable discussing historical settlement results and fee generation, particularly on the plaintiff side. Bonuses are paid out monthly

Job Description

  • Handle employment litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and mediation briefs using cloud-based systems
  • Take and defend depositions and argue motions
  • Drive case strategy and settlement negotiations with autonomy
  • Use AI tools and shared services to maximize efficiency and reduce admin work
  • Communicate directly with clients and deliver a high-quality client experience
  • Collaborate with a remote team of experienced employment litigators


Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • 2+ years of employment law experience total
  • 2+ years of litigation experience total
  • Plaintiff or defense background considered
  • Experience negotiating and settling cases required
  • Strong writing, analytical, and strategic skills
  • Comfortable in a performance-driven, remote environment
