Job description

Independent Landscape Contractor

Location: Various Job Sites (As Assigned)
Position Type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 3 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Pay: $200 per day

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Independent Landscape Contractor to provide landscaping and grounds maintenance services at assigned properties. This is a independent contractor position requiring the contractor to supply their own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Mow, edge, and trim lawns.
  • Prune shrubs, hedges, and small trees.
  • Remove weeds, leaves, and landscape debris.
  • Plant flowers, shrubs, and other landscaping materials as needed.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and attractive outdoor spaces.
  • Complete assigned work efficiently and according to client expectations.
  • Report any property maintenance concerns to the project supervisor.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance.
  • Must own and provide all necessary landscaping tools and equipment (including mower, trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer, hand tools, etc.).
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned job sites.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Compensation & Schedule

  • $200 per day (8-hour workday).
  • Schedule: 3 days per week.
  • Independent Contractor (1099) position.
  • Contractor is responsible for all tools, equipment, transportation, fuel, and any applicable insurance.
